Meet TESA’s Leaders
Tamika Johnson is the Founder and Senior Managing Partner of The Elite Services Agency (TESA), bringing more than 25 years of leadership, consulting, and creative experience to the organization. As the visionary behind TESA, she oversees all operational and strategic functions, cultivating a brand known for excellence, integrity, and enduring professional relationships. Her work and dedication have earned her multiple honors recognizing academic achievement, leadership, and outstanding service to others.
Highly recommended by colleagues, mentors, and former educators, Tamika is widely respected for her intellectual gifts, strategic insight, creativity, and ability to successfully manage and coordinate complex projects. These strengths extend to her work as a writer and content designer, including the authorship and creative direction of TESA’s website and digital platforms. Guided by her personal principle—“No matter the task, big or small, do it well or not at all”—she approaches every endeavor with consistency, precision, and purpose.
Tamika holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Memphis, where she earned repeated Dean’s List honors and was recognized as a National Dean’s List Scholar. She is also a proud member of the Phi Theta Kappa and Pinnacle honor societies.
In addition to her business leadership, Tamika is an accomplished professional singer, songwriter, and producer. Her career includes performances and recordings alongside notable artists such as LaMonte McLemore of The Fifth Dimension, Tito Jackson, The Funk Brothers of Motown, Al Green, Chaka Khan, Anita Ward, and The Bar‑Kays, among others.
Tamika’s commitment to service extends beyond her professional work. She has long demonstrated a genuine concern for community development, previously serving on the advisory board of the Taylor Made Foundation, a Georgia‑based nonprofit organization. She continues to mentor, volunteer, and generously share her knowledge and resources with individuals seeking guidance. In addition, she serves within the federal government, applying her problem‑solving skills and professional expertise in support of quality, reliable public service to America’s taxpayers.
Creatively, Tamika is deeply passionate about storytelling through poetry, songwriting, singing, scriptwriting, and photography. She frequently collaborates with her Elite Productions (BLT) team—Barry, Larry, and Tamika—writing original music, co‑producing projects, and contributing lead and background vocals.

You can also preview KoolAwesome Kids: Act I, uplifting positive mindset children’s music project that was written by Tamika and produced and performed by her and her team BLT. Larry Johnson is the Co‑Managing Partner and President of TESA’s Entertainment Division, bringing a lifetime of world‑class performance, leadership, and creative excellence to the agency. A globally respected singer, emcee, and entertainer, Larry has shared stages around the world with some of the most influential legends in music and show business.
He served as a frontman alongside Motown icon Jack Ashford and the late Funk Brothers Papa Joe Hunter, Johnny Griffith, Uriel Jones, and Eddie Willis, and is widely celebrated for his powerful vocals, musical arrangements, recordings, and electrifying performances with The Bar‑Kays, Al Green, and The Soul Children of Stax (CBS Records). Throughout his career, Larry has also performed with an impressive roster of music greats, including Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder, Tito Jackson, Gladys Knight, Michael McDonald, The O’Jays, Marvin Gaye, and James Brown, among many others.
Larry’s journey has been defined not only by talent, but by a deep passion for people and an unwavering commitment to excellence—both on and off the stage. While living in Las Vegas with his wife and business partner, Tamika Johnson, the couple developed a close friendship with the legendary LaMonte McLemore of The 5th Dimension, collaborating with him on several creative projects that further shaped Larry’s artistic and professional legacy.
Beyond entertainment, Larry has built a distinguished reputation in marketing and promotions, earning recognition for award‑winning service excellence and measurable business impact. He previously served as Senior Promotions Manager for Camel Rock Casino in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where his innovative, customer‑focused strategies helped increase visitor traffic and contributed to a 35% growth in profits. His success stemmed from the energetic, crowd‑engaging approach he first developed at Sheraton Casino in Robinsonville, Mississippi.
Upon arriving in Santa Fe, Larry quickly implemented his proven marketing philosophy—combining strategic insight with live‑entertainment sensibilities to create consistent audience engagement. Within just three months, his ability to identify untapped opportunities and deliver results positioned him for continued professional success and personal fulfillment.
When he’s not working, Larry remains deeply committed to mentorship and community support, generously investing his time and experience in uplifting others. His heart for service and genuine care for people are among the many qualities that make him a valued and respected leader within the TESA Elite team.
Creatively, Larry continues to pursue his love for music as one‑third of Elite Productions (BLT), alongside Tamika Johnson and longtime collaborator Barry Wilkins. Together, they co‑produce and record original music that inspires and uplifts. Their most recent project, KoolAwesome Kids: Act I, is a collection of positive, life‑affirming children’s songs available as a limited‑edition CD through TESA’s Elite Boutique, as well as on all major streaming platforms.
