Meet TESA’s Leaders
Tamika Johnson is the Founder and Senior Managing Partner of The Elite Services Agency (TESA). With 25 years of leadership and consulting experience, she oversees all aspects of the organization and has built a strong reputation for excellence, integrity, and long‑standing professional relationships. Over the years, her work has earned her multiple awards for academic achievement, leadership, and outstanding people service.
Widely recommended by colleagues, mentors, and former educators, Tamika is recognized for her strategic leadership, creativity, and ability to assist, direct, and apply her intellect by coordinating complex projects—qualities reflected in her authorship and design of website content (including TESA’s website). Guided daily by her core principle, “No matter the task, big or small, do it well or not at all,” she brings dedication, consistency, and thoroughness to every endeavor.
Tamika holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Memphis, where she earned repeated Dean’s List honors and awards and recognition as a National Dean’s List scholar. She is also a member of the Phi Theta Kappa and Pinnacle honor societies.
As a professional singer, songwriter, and producer, Tamika has performed and recorded with notable artists including LaMonte McLemore of The Fifth Dimension, Tito Jackson, The Funk Brothers of Motown, Al Green, Chaka Khan, Anita Ward, and The Bar-Kays, just to name a few.
Beyond her professional work, Tamika has always had a genuine concern for others, and she actively supports community causes, previously serving on the advisory board of the Taylor Made Foundation (a Georgia-based community outreach non-profit). However, she continues to mentor, volunteer, and willingly share her resources with those seeking guidance. She also works within the federal government, applying her knowledge and problem‑solving skills while doing her best to serve America’s taxpayers with quality, reliable public service.
Tamika’s creative passions include storytelling through poetry, songwriting, singing, scriptwriting, and photography. She frequently collaborates with her Elite Productions (BLT) team —Barry, Larry, and Tamika—writing songs, co-producing, and contributing lead and background vocals to their original music.

Larry Johnson is the Co-Managing Partner and President of TESA’s Entertainment division. A world‑renowned singer, emcee, and entertainer, Larry has performed globally with leading legends of show business. He served as frontman with Motown’s iconic Funk Brother Jack Ashford and the late Funk Brothers Papa Joe Hunter, Johnny Griffith, Uriel Jones, and Eddie Willis. Larry is celebrated for his exceptional vocal ability, arrangements, recordings, and dynamic performances with The Bar-Kays, Al Green, and The Soul Children of Stax (CBS Records). He has also shared the stage with numerous music icons, including Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder, Tito Jackson, Gladys Knight, Michael McDonald, The O’Jays, the late Marvin Gaye, and James Brown, to name a few.
Larry’s career has been shaped by his talent, passion for people, and dedication to excellence—both on and off the stage. While living in Las Vegas with his wife and business partner, Tamika, the couple formed a close friendship with the legendary LaMonte McLemore of the iconic pop group The 5th Dimension, collaborating with him on several creative projects.
Outside of his work as an entertainer, Larry has built an impressive professional reputation marked by award‑winning service excellence and a strong commitment to community impact. His marketing career includes serving as Senior Promotions Manager for Camel Rock Casino in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where he played a pivotal role in increasing visitor traffic and helping enhance the casino’s profits by 35%. His success was driven by his energetic, crowd‑engaging personality and the innovative promotional strategies he first honed at Sheraton Casino in Robinsonville, Mississippi.
Upon arriving in Santa Fe, Larry immediately implemented his proven customer‑centered marketing approach—combining strategic ideas with his dynamic entertainment skills to draw consistent crowds. Within just three months, those unique talents, paired with his ability to identify missed opportunities, set him on a path of continued professional growth and personal fulfillment.
When he’s not working, Larry dedicates time to mentoring young people and supporting meaningful causes that uplift the community. His heart for service is one of the many reasons he is a valued member of the TESA Elite team.
Creatively, Larry continues to pursue his passion for music. As one‑third of the Elite Productions (BLT) team—alongside Tamika and longtime collaborator Barry Wilkins—he co‑produces and records original music. Their most recent release, KoolAwesome Kids: Act I, is a collection of positive, life‑affirming children’s songs available for purchase on a limited‑edition CD (on TESA’s Elite Boutique page above) as well as for streaming on all major streaming platforms.
